If you want to play the Pinterest game, you know you should enable Rich Pins.
You have a Squarespace website.
Type in Google: “squarespace rich pins”. And…
You’ll have tons of answers saying “put this code here and there”.
You stand confused. Where? What?
I have good news for you: you don’t need to insert any code anywhere.
Enabling Rich Pins on Squarespace is easy.
So here’s how you do it.
What are Rich Pins?
Rich Pins are better than simple pins on Pinterest as they include extra information right on the pin without you adding that info. You’ll get that info added automatically by Pinterest if you enable Rich Pins.
There are 6 types of Rich Pins: app, movie, recipe, article, product, and place.
On Squarespace you can use product and article Rich Pins – without adding any code to your site.
Squarespace has had Rich Pins enabled by default since May 2015.
So to enable your rich pins, just go to Pinterest Rich Pins Validator, paste in the URL of one of your blog posts (it’s important! – the main URL of your site – your home page won’t work!), hit the button and you’re done! All of your posts will be OK from now on.
I told you it’s easy. 😉
